PURPOSE
The on-line verification system is a public service provided by the North
Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners to assist the consumer in obtaining
information about dentists and dental hygienists licensed in North Carolina.
The system is not intended to serve as a practitioner referral or
locator service as the Board cannot recommend or endorse licensees.
If you need information not provided on this web site, you may contact
the Board office.
To find a dentist or dental hygienist, please enter either a
license number, first or last name in the text boxes provided below. If
entering a license number:
Place a "10" in front of a dental license
number
Place a "20" in front of a hygiene license number (if a 4 digit
number) or
place a "2" in front of a hygiene
license number (if a 5 digit number)
Place a "30" in front of an instructors license number
Place a "15" in front of an intern permit number
Place a "25" in front of a hygiene provisional license number
Place a "26" in front of a dental provisional license number
